Composing Your Shots
During the first hour of this class, you will learn the essentials of composing your shot by reviewing photographs taken by fellow photographers, which are on display in the Camera Guild clubroom. You'll be taught to find the leading lines, is the photo centered, in groups of three, verticals and horizontals. You'll learn to see things that have rhythm/movement due to color, space, and lines. The second hour will be a field trip to a local site to practice the lesson received in the first hour of class. The following week you'll bring your photos (saved to a flash drive) to class for review, to help you become the photographer you want to be.
Bring your camera, with fully charged battery. A tripod or monopod would be helpful too, but not mandatory.
Classes are open to all CGSC members for $5 per class, non-CGSC, RCSC members, $10 per class. A savings for CGSC members is available by enrolling in all classes for $50.
