Bird Photography - Where and How in the Phoenix Area
Two members of the Sonoran Audubon Society, Karen LeFrance and Kathy Dashiell, will tour the greater Phoenix area’s numerous birding hotspots – including photos of the typical and rare birds you’ll find.  Hear how exciting it is to find that elusive bird or get your first sighting of a particular species – called a “life bird.”  We’ll bring the equipment we used in getting those special photos and provide tips on proper settings.  If you haven’t already begun keeping track of the birds you see, another aspect of the presentation includes an introduction to “E-Bird.”

They will include some information about Sonoran Audubon, and its role in promoting birding and conservation in the Phoenix West Valley.
