Car Pool: Meet at Sun Dial at 1045. Some may leave earlier and stop on the way. Travel Time to Bisbee: 3h 45m

Bisbee, AZ: Google westernmininghistory.com select Arizona Mines, select Mining Towns, select Arizona Mining Towns, select Bisbee. It provides a very good history of Bisbee, Lowell, and Warren (the latter two have links and Warren is where our guest house is actually located).

Lavender Pit: An open mining pit just south of Bisbee (about 10 minutes)

Lowell, AZ: A small town frozen in the past, good photos of old cars, a main street, and a restored old Shell Gas Station. The first right turn, just south of the Lavender Pit.

Whitewater Draw: 8469 N Coffman Rd. McNeal, AZ – up to 30,000 Sand Cranes migrate each year to this location. 31 Minutes from Bisbee.

Fort Bowie: Google Fort Bowie and select the National Park Service site for information. Old Calvary Fort used during the Apache wars. 1:23h from Whitewater 1:54h From Bisbee.

Arizona Senora Desert Museum: (Tucson) $19.95 for seniors and it is well known for its wildlife and knowledge, opens at 0830. 2021 E. Kinney Road Tucson, AZ Travel time 2:20 from Sun City.

There are many things to see and do in Southern Arizona and wintertime is a good time to go. Check out the great Guest House where we can stay. The prices are very reasonable.
