BEARIZONA PARK IN WILLIAMS September 14th Tuesday
Leave at 6:30 am from Sundial Parking lot for carpooling.
Fee: $30.00 per person
Directions: approx. 2 ½ hr drive. Rt. 17 north to Rte. 40 west to intersection US HW 64 (rt 66) Huge colorful Arch Sign for the Park. The day will include a 3-mile ride thru in your car, stopping along the way to photograph the wild animals seen everywhere. The end includes a walk thru area with seeing animals in safe habitats. Lunch at the Canyon Land Restaurant which is built in a cave with views at the Park. 1:00 or when finished touring the walk thru part of the trip.
Williams is fun town to explore following the Bearizona as it has been immortalized by songs and years of Rte.66 travelers.
++ Williams also offers a train ride to the Grand Canyon. One needs to make their own reservations by going on line to Grand Canyon Train Ride . To be planned at a later date if interest is shown.
