The Musical Instrument Museum: Is a huge museum dedicated primarily to music and instruments of the world. However, there is a whole lot more. Currently there is an exhibit of Congo Masks and Music and Masterpieces of Central Africa. These exhibitions change throughout the year. There are also concerts and other programs noted on the website calendar. You will not be disappointed as this is one of the top 15 museums in the United States and a top attraction in Phoenix.

There are two options for this trip. You will probably not have enough time to cover the whole museum in one day. If you want the most bang for your buck, you can go earlier and meet us in the Café Allegro at 11:30 for lunch. The café is located in the museum. Those who do not want to walk more than 4 hours can carpool or arrive at the MIM by 11:15, which allows us to purchase our tickets and meet everyone for lunch at the Café Allegro. After lunch we will wander the museum. You can pre- purchase your tickets online at MIM.org. You can also download a map or look at a virtual tour on line.
