Description

Drive northeast of Flagstaff on US Highway 89 for 12.5 miles. Turn left on Forest Road 552, directly across from the Sunset Crater National Monument turnoff. Follow FR 552 for approximately one mile. Turn right at the Lockett Meadow sign and continue to the campground.

Thursday Oct 15th Lockett Meadow near Flagstaff

Leave Sundial at 6:00 for call pooling ( we will need volunteers to drive)

We will meet at the McDonalds located @ The Flagstaff Mall on RT 89 just north of Country Club Drive.

Driving Directions are basic to Flagstaff / I-17 & exit east on I-40 . 4 miles exit @ Country Club Drive to RT 89 , turn left on Country Club Drive to right N on RT 89 the Mall and McDonalds.

*** The leafometer says the colors should be turned by then... And if time permits visit the Flagstaff Arboretum ..more fall colors. Yeah!

Bring water, face masks, hiking shoes and tripods.
