"Underwater Photography: Challenges, Gear, and Techniques for Capturing the Depths"

Jody & Barry Cline will “dive” into the unique world of underwater photography, highlighting the distinct challenges scuba divers face when capturing images beneath the surface.  From navigating light limitations to managing specialized equipment, they will explore the tools that make underwater photography possible, including cameras, waterproof housings, strobe lights, and snoots.  Attendees will also have the opportunity to see more photos of familiar sea creatures, along with insights on how we photograph them in their natural habitat.  We’ll discuss key techniques for overcoming lighting issues, dealing with water clarity, and making the most of limited visibility.  Whether you're a diver or not, this session will provide knowledge and inspiration for your next photography adventure above or below the sea.
