Stay Where: Wilcox, Az On Rte. 10 

DIRECTIONS: From Sun City take the 101 South to the 10 East to the 202 South to the 10 South all the way to Wilcox. 219 miles. To the CNP about 48 min to entrance on Rte. 186 South. All very easy! 

1. Arizona Sunset Inn 106.00 per night, great reviews, breakfast and close to rte. 10 

2. Best Western – not the best reviews, 62.00 per night

3. 3 other hotels, your choice, more fun to stay together. Or Make your own reservations or if certain you are going, I can set aside several rooms, no cancellation fees. 

Restaurants: First night: The Dining Car. old train car, Tex Mex, BB ribs, steaks etc. 6:30

Second Night- Tapas Coronado Vineyards. Winery, great food and wine and reviews. 6:00

Lunch, Portal Peak Lodge or on your own! Either day!

PLACES TO VISIT AND EXPLORE 

Because Chiricahua Mountain area is so beautiful and desirable to Photographers, the choices are many.

1.Birding: in Wilcox at Cochise Lake. Migration time in AZ is Jan and Feb. 

2.Chiricahua Mountains, Many places and trails and sites. we will have a meeting prior to leaving to make sure everyone knows what where and when. Visit the web site - Chiricahua National Park to view the incredible mountain formations and paths to them. 

3.Fort Bowie, National Historical Site: 

4.Douglas: on the Mexican border, along with other small towns in the southern areas. To be discussed prior to leaving.

Closer to date of leaving and at the pre-meeting, I will have a two-day itinerary set up for you to use or not, that will include a logical means to spend your days with all the highlights.
