For those who are uncomfortable using computers the Camera Guild has created a Basic Computer Class. The topics covered will be as follows:

Turning on, putting to sleep, and turning off computers
Navigating through the computer using a mouse
Different menus utilizing left/right clicks of the mouse
Locating existing files
Creating, naming, and moving new files
Loading/Downloading media from flash drives and SSD cards
Creating shortcuts for your desktop
Locating and opening applications
System Preferences
Dos and Don’ts with Camera Guild Computers
Other topics based on class requests
Utilizing the photo editing application that comes with you computer (if time permits)

These basic topics should provide you a level of comfort when using your computer. Please bring a flash drive or SSD card to class. You will download and upload items as practice.

There are two sessions of this class both on Mondays from 1-3 p.m. The cost is $7 for the class. Size limited to 6 seats.
